Pake C'mute:  my build with an ivory soma double cross fork, SRAM Rival, fat tires, tektro cr720 brakes.

  1. thanks for the write-up about the c'mute! i've been looking around for a frame for my girlfriend's 'welcome back from africa' bike (she's a peace corps vol. in Mali until sept.), and this is looking pretty good. i love my cross check, but the lack of a rear brake cable stop kinda sucks. and i think the color is awesome! like a more subtle version of celeste. i just hope her mother doesn't make me paint it yellow (like her car, tractor, horse trailer...)

  2. Thanks for the comment! Its a pretty stout bike and the only thing I have read from other reviews is that its "dead feeling" and not lively. I don't share that sentiment, maybe because my wheels are light. I think people tank this bike out (or expect the feel of columbus slx tubing in a cheapie frame)--sum of all parts made me a pretty awesome bike! I hope it works out for you and stays pavemint!
